RS Electronics Wins Outstanding Distributor Award

May 18, 2007  Livonia, MI - RS Electronics, a Michigan based wholesale distributor of electronic components, test and measurement equipment, and electrical products was recently recognized for outstanding sales by the Mechatronics Fan Group, a division of Mechatronics Corporation.

In a ceremony at RS Electronics' Livonia, Michigan, corporate headquarters, David Hazlett, Mechatronics General Manager, and Gary Trowell, Mechatronics Eastern Regional Sales Manager, presented the award for Outstanding Sales Achievement to RS executives Howard Taxe, President, and Dick Miller, Senior Vice President.

In 2006, RS Electronics' sales of Mechatronics products increased by more than 20%.

The Mechatronics Fan Group has been a leading source of AC and DC cooling fans, blowers, added-value assemblies and cooling solutions since 1985. Major customer markets include companies in the telecommunications, computer networking, office automation, home electronics, medical, and industrial sectors.
