COD

All COD orders are payable in U.S. funds and are subject to additional charges which may vary according to the method of shipment and its total value. Cash and checks are accepted. Non-catalog and special-order items cannot be shipped COD.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

All items are FOB shipping point. All shipments will be assessed a $5.00 U.S. handling fee. Additional charges may apply based on the method of shipment and total weight. Oversize parcels, hazardous materials, or shipments requiring special handling or delivery are subject to additional charges. All shipments will be assessed an insurance charge based on value. Shipments with a value up to $100 U.S. are insured at no charge. Shipments with a value greater than $100 U.S. will be charged at a rate of $1.50 minimum or $0.55 per $100 U.S. which ever is greater. Unless instructed otherwise, we will ship United Parcel Service (UPS) or common motor carrier depending on the size and weight of the order. You may specify other commercially available transportation services at an additional charge.

SALES TAXES

Sales Tax will be charged where applicable. Exempt customers must supply a valid sales tax exemption certificate to avoid sales tax charges.

OPEN ACCOUNTS

Customers requesting open account terms must complete a credit application. Credit lines are determined upon evaluation of the information from any of the following sources: credit application, Dun & Bradstreet, Electronic Trade Groups, and other public sources of information. Payment terms will be as specified on our invoices. Past due accounts are subject to late payment charges. Please allow 48 hours to process your application for commercial credit.

ORDER SHIPMENT

All orders originating in the United States that are processed by 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time will be shipped the same day at no additional charge.

CATALOG ITEMS

The vast majority of all items listed in this catalog are in stock at our facilities or our suppliers' and available for immediate shipment at any given time. However, because of extremely high demand and/or limited availability from the manufacturer, some items may be backordered. If any portion of your purchase is subject to backorder, you will be notified at the time we receive your order.

NON-CATALOG ITEMS

We carry many items not listed in our catalog and can also special order non-standard, modified, even fully customized products. Please be aware that some non-catalog items may be subject to minimum order quantities. Also, orders for non-standard, modified and fully customized products are not cancelable and the products are not returnable.

LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

Please open and inspect all orders immediately upon receipt. Claims for loss or damage in transit should be made directly to the carrier. If you notify us, we will assist you in securing your claim. Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for damage that occurs after we have obtained good order receipt form the transportation companies.

RETURNS

RS will gladly accept returns and will replace the product or refund your money at your option. In order for us to quickly process your return, please do the following:

1. Contact us at 800-555-5312, via fax at 734-525-4093, or via email at rselectronics@rselectronics.com to obtain a Return Authorization Number.
2. Note this RA Number plainly on the return shipping label and on any enclosed correspondence.
3. Return the merchandise in the original packaging (if possible) and in re-sellable condition.
4. Return freight must be prepaid. COD returns cannot be accepted.
5. Please note that merchandise returned due to customer error may be subject to a restocking charge.
6. Non-catalog items may be returnable, but non-standard, modified, and fully customized items are not returnable at all.
7. RS reserves the right to deviate form these policies under special circumstances.

The prices in this catalog reflect the latest information available to us. However, prices for electronic and electrical products are constantly changing due to market conditions and are beyond our direct control. Therefore, we reserve the right to modify our prices at our sole discretion. You will be notified of any price changes to your purchase prior to order processing.
